Things That Look Like Swords But Aren’t

But Could Probably Be (And Most Likely Have Been) Used As One Anyways:

Chopsticks

Plastic knives

Dowels

Dowels covered with duct tape so they look like they’re made of metal

Wooden spoon. End fits conveniently in a pencil sharpener, or you could smack your opponent with the spoon end in a non-lethal situation.

Pencils (although apparently pencil fights have their own set of rules and forms)

Pens

Markers (red ones are best, for obvious reasons)

Knitting needles

Drop Spindle. Note pointy end, and guard possibilities of whorl.

Sledge hammers

Violin bows

Broomsticks

Tin whistles

Bagpipe chanters, the victim here being quite obvious, I think.

Drinking straws

Yard sticks (USA)

Metre sticks (Canada and the rest of the world that values sensible measurement units)

Candle sticks

Branches that the dog just picked up off the beach
