January is a month of resolutions, new plans, and new energy for jumping into a training or fitness regimen. We understand the urge to kick off the dust of the old year with some serious exercise — or a new fighting style or two — and we’re here to help. This month, we’re running a whole array of introductory workshops to let you get started with as little work as possible.
Intro to Valkyrie Series
Beginning this Saturday, we’re running a three part series of 4-hour workshops covering our core non-swordplay arts: wrestling, boxing, and knife combat. Each workshop is designed to stand alone, and they can be taken individually, or as a full series. These are a great way to get comfortable with a new art so that you get more out of Valkyre Core classes, beef up your fundamentals after some time off, or expanding into a new art that can supplement your core training.
Each workshop runs on a Saturday afternoon from 2pm – 6pm. Registration costs $80/2 credits, and Early Bird pricing of $70 is available. You can also book the full series for $200 for all three session. Find out more about each workshop and register today by clicking through the images:
Valkyrie Base Intro Workshop
If you’re looking to jump right into our main classes and want a strong swordplay foundation first, this six-hour workshop is for you! We’ve condensed our Valkyrie Base program into a single day that covers our basic swordplay, fitness, and self-defense material, and will let you get right into our general classes as soon as you’d like. The workshop will run on Sunday, January 24th, from 10am – 4pm. If you pre-register by January 17th, you’ll get our early bird price of $100. Standard pricing is $120, or 3 credits. Find out more and register today on the workshop page.
Our regular Valkyrie Base program is also running all month, so there are a ton of opportunities for getting started. We hope to see you soon!
